The Living Proof tee is the piece NVUS Hearts started with. A full back print in heavy lettering, with a smaller line set beneath it. Heavyweight cotton, oversized cut, pressed by hand in Boston.
The print
The print covers the full back, shoulder to shoulder. The big letters make the statement. The smaller line under them finishes it. That is the whole design. Nothing on the sleeves, nothing crowding the chest. It reads from across a street.
The line is the founder's. Keith did not pick it as a slogan. It is a plain description of his own story, which is on the About page. The shirt says it for him.
The fabric and the cut
The tee is 100% cotton, heavyweight and pre-shrunk. The cut is boxy with dropped shoulders, the way streetwear is worn now. It wears looser than a standard-fit tee at the same size. Sizes run S through XXL. The quickest way to pick one is to measure a tee you already own straight across the chest and match that number to the size guide.
Colors
Black, beige and white. The lettering is set to read on each ground: light lettering on the black tee, dark lettering on the white. Black is the one most people start with.
Made in Boston
Every tee is pressed by the founder, one at a time, in his own shop in Boston. That is why the print sits exactly where it should on every size instead of drifting the way bulk runs do. Orders are processed in one to three business days and ship within the United States.
The set
The same lettering lives on an embroidered patch on the Living Proof trucker hat, with the smaller line stitched beneath it. The tee and the hat are made to be worn together.
